PathWest, Laboratory Medicine Western Australia is offering a PhD scholarship to commence in 2010 for research into an area of Pathology. Students must be enrolled full-time, be an Australian citizen or have Permanent Resident Status and not be under bond to any foreign government. The stipend is $25,000 per annum. An additional allowance of up to $4,000 per annum is available for travel and attendance at a relevant conference. Scholarships will be awarded for 1 year in the first instance but can be extended up to a maximum period of 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance reviews.
