PathWest's Marketing department is a proactive and progressive team of scientific and business-qualified staff who are always looking at ways to improve the level of service to our requesting doctors, commercial customers and of course, to the Western Australian community.

In addition to driving PathWest's strive for improvement of customer service, the Marketing department is also charged with sourcing new locations for specimen collection centres which include medical centres or stand-alone premises.

Our marketing team is also responsible for convening Doctors' Forums where PathWest specialists present on topics of interest and specific relevance to medical professionals of varied backgrounds, in a particular region of Western Australia or the metropolitan area.

The PathWest marketing team sources new business from the less traditional users of pathology services who utilise PathWest's expertise for:

• drug screening and heavy metals analysis;
  
• biochemistry assays for lifestyle screening;
  
• waters testing for drinking suitability or swimming in; and
  
• foods in hospitality and catering environments, to name only a few.
