PathWest provides an electronic result delivery service called PathWest Direct.
Results are available within minutes of their completion at PathWest laboratories and can be securley downloaded via the interent to any location where the PathWest Direct software is installed.
With the advent of wireless internet connectivity and compatible notebook computers, this service is now totally portable.
For medical sites, results can be directly imported into compatible clinical patient management systems, reviewed and filed directly into patient's files.
For commercial sites and medical sites without compatible clinical software, results can be viewed and printed using the PathWest Direct Report Viewer, which is supplied as an optional component of the PathWest Direct suite.
